The Love and Care project empowers and supports the families of Masiphumelele township in Cape Town. Masiphumelele is a desperately poor community of about 40,000 residents; the project provides care for the children (0-6 years) of families many affected by HIV/Aids and tuberculosis. The aim and objectives of the project is to provide the children, many of whom are orphans or have lost a parent, with: food, care, basic education, medical support and love of course!
